The 2020 medal of the "Run Rome The Marathon" is a unique, one-in-a-million art piece and it is linked to one of the most well known and iconic symbols of the Eternal City. In fact, the perfectly round shape of the medal has allowed the organizers to use their creativity and pay homage to one of the Italian capital's most important monuments - the Pantheon. The Pantheon is an almost magical place, thanks to its legendary dome, and it is rich in positive values, having been built to honor all the gods. MIZUNO WAVE SKY WAVEKNIT 3 - The Wave Sky is Mizuno's plushest running shoe, well designed for high mileage running. Round two introduces significant changes to the upper, midsole, and outersole. The upper is Mizuno's Waveknit, with its forgiving forefoot stretch, ventilation, and a smooth fit. The interior is very plush, comfortably securing the foot, 360 degrees of comfort from the polyurethane insole, the ankle collar, and the smooth lined tongue. The midsole is a new configuration to the Mizuno line, a multi-part U4ic foam which features dual wavey layers which align to create varying densities, cushioning the ride. A new bead based foam of blown TPU, called XPOP, adds another layer of bounce, and more future options for this flagship shoe. The outersole of carbon rubber provides excellent traction, good durability, and is articulated for well designed flexibility. The combination of comfort, fit, and protection make the Wave Sky Waveknit 3 an excellent choice for a high mileage running shoe. Updates the Wave Sky 2.

 JANUARY 12 - Runners will get a close look of the beautiful Gallinara island when taking part in the Trail della Gallinara run, held on the mountains surrounding the Ligurian city of Albenga, near Savona, and winding through a very panoramic 27k course overlooking the sea. The island is now protected as a shelter for the herring gull, with one of the largest colonies of this bird in the Mediterranean, and for rare plant species and stretches of intact shallow sea floor. Along with the beautiful vista, the running event allows the participants to experience traveling along a portion of the ancient Roman road Via Julia Augusta, built in 13 bC to connect the Italian city of Piacenza with the French one of Arles.
