RUNNING SHOES REVIEW

NEW BALANCE FRESH FOAM TEMPO - The Fresh Foam Tempo is light in weight but a sturdy performance training shoe that is versatile enough to handle both the fast and slow ends of the training spectrum. The upper is thin, closed mesh with a supportive saddle and rearfoot which features a stiff thermoplastic, partial heel counter and the ankle collar has a very smooth lining. The midsole is Fresh Foam, the engineered New Balance foam formulation shaped to maximize protection and rebound. The full contact outersole features plenty of durable rubber over the forefoot and heel, thin enough to keep the weight down, with a small, exposed midfoot, but with a tread pattern over the entire surface for effective traction. The result is a shoe that is light enough for fast running and protective enough for recovery days, you'll have to decide whether to set the cruise control for the fastlane or the country lane. New shoe.

Testers: "Nicely cushioned ride that has a fast, low to the ground feel. Upper has a smooth, deluxe feel, and moves really well with the foot. Fast as you are, and then some."
