The upper is a monosock of tough, knitted mesh, with a laminated midfoot saddle for support. It is both secure and breathable, with a snug but comfortable fit completing the package. The midsole is a stable, dual density polymer that is well suited to trails and durable for miles to run. The design also features a full length plate which rocks, literally, while doubling as rock protection, so now trail ultrarunners can get the benefits previously only afforded in the road "super shoes" (you could think of the Flyte Vectiv as a "super duper shoe"). The outersole is a toothy trail tread worthy of The North Face's standards. The Vectiv will get you to the finish line, provided you do your part, with room to spare.
