ADIDAS ULTRABOOST 19 - The UltraBoost was adidas' first full boost shoe. Now it has been reintroduced post its fashion success, as a super serious running shoe for runners looking for extra cushion. The upper is a stretch knit mesh, with a redesigned saddle and heel clip, each of which secures the foot and heel simultaneously. The fit is quite snug, which keeps you centered over the full boost midsole, and wraps the foot securely. The midsole has been subtly altered from the original, with areas mildly reshaped to improve the ride. The outersole and shank remain unchanged, still providing outstanding traction durability and structure, thanks to its broad base and full contact design. Runners who enjoyed the original will find this update to their liking, and those who are new to the shoe may well like the snug feel of the fit and the well cushioned ride, though the trying is the proof. Updates the UltraBoost.
Testers: "Great, bouncy cushioning. Supportive fit. Great for my long runs, and recovery days."

NOVEMBER 3 - As the title of the run indicates, the Brutal Trail in Ghemme, in the northern province of Novara, promises a very tough course. However, participants will not face uphill mountain roads nor rocky forest paths. As a matter of fact, the three featured courses will not go beyond the local vineyard grounds, and participants will run up and down between the rows of vines multiple times (up to forty loops!) depending on the chosen distance. But at the end of this particular running challenge a visit to the cellar and wine tasting will be the well-deserved reward for all finishers. www.brutaltrail.it |
