TOPO PHANTOM 2 - The Topo Phantom 2 is the update to Topo's initial stabilizing shoe model. The upper is a well designed engineered mesh, with overlays of the same textile, and bilateral lace loops which holds the tongue in place. The forefoot is shaped to allow an accommodating fit for the toes. A new thermoplastic clip at the heel provides extra support for stability. The midsole is Zipfoam, a lively polymer formulation, topped by a perforated EVA Strobel board and a polyurethane insole completing the cushioned layers. The outersole is spare, thin carbon rubber in the high wear areas with road grade EVA over the remainder. The fit, ride and geometry combine for a winning combination of long lasting performance.
